What the source says

BigCommerce’s Catalyst 1.13.1 generates visit and product-view events only for requests resembling browser navigation, using bot identification and request-header checks. Consent handling is unchanged. It also stops tracking parameters from creating distinct route-cache entries; original query strings still reach pages, but redirects depending on tracking parameters no longer match. [1] [2]

AudioSlave analysis

a drop in recorded visits after deployment could reflect filtering. Compare server requests, browser events and completed customer actions separately. Classification rules do not prove every included request is human.
