Cloudflare’s October 28 release changes the default count returned by its MCP tool-call analytics endpoints. MCP, the Model Context Protocol, connects AI applications to external tools. These analytics now default to successful calls; previous counts included failed and cached calls. Setting response_status=all explicitly restores the previous inclusion of every status. The filter applies at account, portal and server scope. Source: https://developers.cloudflare.com/changelog/post/2026-10-28-mcp-analytics-response-status/
Supporting documentation says reporting accepts a fixed timezone offset, which does not adjust for daylight-saving changes within a selected window. Reference: https://developers.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-one/access-controls/ai-controls/mcp-portals/#view-tool-call-analytics
AudioSlave analysis: A lower count could reflect a changed definition rather than reduced activity. Record the status filter and time boundaries before comparing periods. A successful tool response also requires separate evidence before it can be called a completed booking or qualified lead. AudioSlave has not tested the endpoints.
