Google’s Connected Apps preview makes authorized actions a separate discovery consideration

Google documents preview integrations for linked-account actions; these requirements do not establish ordinary website ranking benefits.

Google’s Connected Apps Platform documentation describes a preview allowing users to link an application and access authorized account information or perform actions from applicable Google products, including Gemini and Search. One integration path uses the Model Context Protocol, or MCP, through which assistants communicate with application tools and data. Google documents OAuth 2.1 authorization and registration, review and publishing through its console. Access remains a preview application process. Prerequisites include a publicly reachable HTTPS MCP endpoint, developer-account access and proof of domain control through a challenge file returning successfully without a redirect. Public metadata, brand assets, privacy and terms links, and supported-task descriptions are also requested. This page is dated October 27; it is supporting documentation, not evidence of an October 28 general launch. Reference: https://developers.google.com/connected-apps/gpc/prerequisites

AudioSlave analysis: Entity understanding, user authorization and reliable task completion require separate evidence. An app listing or domain challenge does not establish transaction reliability. These documents do not establish a ranking advantage for ordinary websites or guarantee AI citations.
